Ending an oddly long silence about their electric motorcycle program, Honda has announced this classic looking race machine, the RC-E, will be shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. No stats have been released, but they stated that it would be the size of a 250cc machine.
"Federal safety regulators announced Friday that they have opened "a formal safety defect investigation" into the Chevrolet Volt over concerns the electric car's battery may pose a significant fire risk."
Note that this is not a recall and there have been no real world incidents. It's only a hypothetical risk based on crash testing.
