Fiskar Karma arrives in the US

I just found this old gizmag article about the Fiskar Karma from early 2009 and wondered what happened to this sexy, Finnish electric sports car.

Well, my timing was great as it seems that, after many delays, the cars are hitting the US this month! The official EPA MPG and MPGe numbers have been released and they aren't impressive, but this is a luxury car. The release has definitely been a source for some vitriol from the right (see this forbes article as an example.)

It uses a primary electric drive with an IC engine for extended distances, like the Nissan Leaf.
