Breaking the World Record, Mirko Hannemann, 27, drove an all electric Audi A2 375 miles at 55mph, with the heat blowing, on one charge! Hannemann and his company DBM Energy created new battery technology which made the difference in the range increase. The German government fronted $380,000 to help Hannemann's battery project which helped make this record breaking journey from Berlin to Munich possible.
