President Obama gets it! Battery technology is a major key to the introduction and success of the electric vehicle. In such, he has made a place for the US to be part of the battery manufacturing industry instead of the ever famous American way of farming business and manufacturing abroad. The US can play a major role in the advancement of electric vehicles by taking the bigger steps, the necessary steps to build infrastructure, manufacturing and trust in the EV movement, by simply investing and promoting it the way President Obama has set forth to do.

The second ever Isle of Man electric only TT race was cleanly won by the Motoczysz team, stealing the title from the inaugural team of Agni Racing.

Average speeds increased 10% from the first year's event, demonstrating how quickly this industry is growing, and giving strong hints of how long it will take to replace the internal combustion status quo. Although the motocross world already has been shown who's the boss, it's looking like it'll be many years before the electric machines are outperforming the IC machines in TT racing.
