One Smart Move UK!!! Electric Car Trials in Place

The United Kingdom is part of a Smart move! 100 Smart ForTwo Electric Drive's are being doled out as trials across Britain, 60 in London proper and the South East with another 40 in the West Midlands. Funded by the Government's Technology Strategy Board, the nationwide trial is the first of its kind with over 340 vehicles being trialed on the UK roads.

"Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, said: "We are now on the brink of an exciting era of cleaner, greener electric motoring. London is already taking steps to ensure drivers in the capital will be able to embrace this new technology and plug in with confidence."
